The Pickens Community Cat Program (PCCP) aka Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program is the only method proven to be humane and effective at controlling outdoor cat population growth. Using this technique, all the cats in a colony are trapped, vaccinated, neutered, ear-tipped for identification, and then returned to their territory by their owner. The goal of any community cat management program is to maximize the quality of life for the cats and to eliminate the existing colony over time through attrition.  Be-Paws We Care, Inc. (BPWC) in partnership with All the Fixins, a CatSnip Foundation, who uses qualified staffing and approved material for all procedures performed.
A $20 donation is requested for each S/N, but BPWC will work with the caretaker if they can not afford. Every cat will be spay/neutered, ear tipped and will receive a FVRCP and Rabies vaccination. Owner traps, takes the cat to the appointment and picks up and returns it to it's home to be released
